In an attempt to come to terms with her mother's death, Fumiko decides to travel to Kamakura with Yume to scatter her mother’s ashes in the sea. But their plan is derailed when Yume is detained by immigration, thrusting the two into the trenches of Japan’s harsh immigrant policy.
