The Offline School (Ongoing)

The Offline School (est. 2025) is a community-driven space for device-free gatherings and people-led learning. Through these gatherings, participants are invited to, for a moment, enter a space of collective exploration, world-building and creative inquiry.

Each gathering is facilitated by different cultural, academic, and community teachers. The Offline School serves to anchor learning and creative spaces in our communities once again, focusing on non-institutionalized and embodied collective learning.

01 ON CREATIVE HABITS:
MAPPING CREATIVE RHYTHMS

Our first gathering focused on the idea of “creative rhythms” -- on how to build a creative ecosystem that honors our natural rhythms and creative needs, and move away from linear, extractive models of creative being.

Facilitator: Leiya Salis & Megumi Koiwai
Guest Facilitator: Eminata (Singer-Songwriter)
